Quartz Worktop
Quartz, engineered stone, is a man made material created from the hardest natural mineral found in granite (i.e. quartz) and an advanced polymer resin.
The result is an extremely durable, solid, work surface option, which is available in a vast array of colours and textures that simply couldn’t be sourced ‘out of the ground’.
Quartz worktops now rival granite in popularity, due to their contemporary look, colour and pattern consistency.
While there are many different manufacturers of Quartz slabs, we only use those we regard as established ‘premium brands’.
Granite Worktop
Granite makes an excellent kitchen worktop due to its heat resistance and ease to clean.
Granite has long been regarded as the ultimate choice in solid work surface due to it’s water, stain and scratch resistant properties. Requiring minimal upkeep and care, granite worktops maintain their sleek and polished look for a lifetime.
Granite is a type of rock quarried out of the ground, from outcrops located around the world. Blocks are transported to processing plants where they are cut into slabs and polished using diamond abrasives.
Colour charts and samples will give you an indication of how granite looks however, as with all natural products, granites will vary from slab to slab in terms of their patterning and colouration. This uniqueness is one of the main attractions of the material.

Solid Wood Worktop
Solid wood worktops are traditionally crafted from beautiful, natural raw materials, their unique grain adds character to any classic designed kitchen, they remain fashionable as trends evolve.
The tops can be finished with stains and oils prior to installation, they will require some TLC to keep them in tip top condition, however they are versatile to be used in many situations where more modern worktops are not so practical.
Laminate Worktop
Laminate will suit any style of kitchen. They are most popular in the family home or with the first time buyer and even by some property developers. This is due to the wide range of designs, colour and more importantly the fact that they are an affordable and very durable kitchen worktop choice.
